About Us

About Us – Our Story
Our owners, Ben Anderson and Danny Loya, have 40 years of combined tile experience. They established GG Tile & Stone (GGTS) in 2001 as a tile installation company in Green Valley and Southern Arizona. Their vision was to create a company that was big enough to handle all our customers’ needs and small enough to provide each client with personalized service.

As our client base grew, it became clear that we needed a showroom to simplify the construction process and to serve our customers’ needs more effectively. We opened our first showroom in 2005 and expanded to current location at 800 W. Camino Casa Verde, Green Valley, AZ in 2010.

Our Workflow

Many people wonder about what to expect during a remodel. This describes the typical process. Of course, there may be differences from project-to-project, so our showroom staff are always happy to discuss the specifics of your job.

l

1.) Initial Appointment

There is no charge for an initial consultation in your home. This is the best way for us to assess your needs and your vision for the project, to take measurements, and to work up a an estimate for the work.

GGTS provides estimates at no cost or obligation to the homeowner. We realize that an estimate provides you with the information you need to budget for your project and to understand the options available to you.

2.) Design Phase & Material Selection

Congratulations! Armed with the estimate, you’ve decided to move forward with your project. Now, it’s time to select materials for the job.

Our staff works with you in our showroom to sort through the wide range of materials, colors and designs available to make selections that suit your needs, and that fit your vision and your budget.

We want you to love your selections!

3.) Bid Acceptance & Scheduling

With your selections made, GGTS provides you with a revised estimate that describes in detail what we are providing for your project and the total cost. That assures that everyone is clear on the scope of work.

Upon acceptance, GGTS requires a 50% deposit with the balance to be paid on completion. We also schedule the project. Our staff will also review what you can expect during your project—workflow, timeframe, etc.

n

4.) Preparing for Your Project

GGTS: Now it’s time for your GGTS project team to get to work! We order all the materials for your project and bring them into our warehouse, so that everything will be ready for your start date. We also schedule the specialists who will be doing your work.

HOMEOWNER: During this time, you purchase any accessories that are to be included in the project (such as plumbing fixtures, towel bars, outlet covers, etc.) as these will need to be at your home on the day we start. This is also a good time to pack up any breakables or to cover up anything that might get dusty during the process.

4.) Completing the Project

An installer(s) who is an expert in your type of project will be assigned to your job. Generally, the first morning they pick up the supplies for your job and head to your home. Any tear-out is handled first, followed by any prep work and then the installation.

Our installers are trained to treat our clients homes as their own—to be neat and courteous. Because they are the experts, most homeowner questions can be answered by them on the job. If a question arises that they cannot answer or an issue comes up that they cannot address, homeowners are encouraged to call one of our staff in the showroom. We want your job to flow as smoothly as possible!

5.) Follow-up & Final Invoice

When your project is complete, our project manager will call to make sure that you are delighted with your remodel. If any touch-ups need to be handled, they will be scheduled at this time. Once you are completely happy, we will send the invoice for final payment. Thank you for your business!
